The Romance of Diving

The following letter, from club member Sue, was published in the February 2018 issue of SCUBA Magazine:

"I WAS persuaded to try SCUBA diving by my partner in September 2015. It was a big step for me because I was not too keen on swimming, but thought I would give it a go. Two years later I have passed Sports Diver and am working towards Dive Leader."

"Not only have I met a lovely group of people from our Stafford BSAC group but was also proposed to underwater on 16 June of that year! On 28 October last year I was married to my partner and we were delighted to share it with our new diving friends. Our honeymoon was in the Maldives and of course this included lots of diving and our first night dive. Diving is really a wonderful experience and I am so glad I was persuaded to give it go. Hopefully you can add this to your letters in the next issue."
